The Vawter/Vauter/Vaughter(s) Family Association
was started in 1977. An annual family reunion is held every July at a
different location. Every five years the reunion is held in the Virgina
area so the
family can visit the Vauter Church, built in 1731.
The association elects a vice-president for a two year term, who then
becomes president for the same amount of time.
