Noel, Daniel (b. 1665, d. AFT 1741)
Note: Daniel Noel was the oldest son of Cornelius Noel the immigrant and his estate was next to his fathers in Essex Co. He is thought to have been born as early as 1665 in Essex Co., VA. However, deed of gift from Thomas R. Page in 1675/6 could show him born shortly before this time. He m. Ellizabeth Eliott according to family tradition. No proof that Elizabeth's name was Elliott currently exists, but a Samuel Ellitt/Elliot family is known nearby.

Essex Co. Deed Book 22 p334, 21 Dec 1741 Daniel Noel being in perfect memory gives to his two son, John and Benjamin to be equally divided between them, the plantation where I now live with all houses and everything pertaining thereto lying in St. Ann's Parish and adjoining the three hundred acres already given by me to my three sons, Daniel, Cornelius, and Bernard Noel. And is the residue of the tract of land formerly granted me by Mr. Thomas Page January 23, 1675.
Witnesses: Patrick Donohoe, Francis Ramsey.

Daniel Noel is mentioned in John Vawter's will as his father-in-law.

O'Daniel, Alexander (b. ABT 1783, d. 1816)
Note: "Whitfield Record" from North Carolina
William Whitfield came from England the early part of the 18th century, married Elizabeth Goodman in 1713, eventually moved to Rockford, Lenoir Co., N.C.
They had four sons and six daughters. Two of the daughters are in our line.
Mary Whitfield married John Grady, had a large family, among them, Charity Grady who married Michael Herring. Their daughter Nancy married Jonathan Keathley, and their daughter Annie Keathley (married Alexander O'Daniel. Annie is our line and is buried in the Walnut Grove Baptist Cemetery in Gibson County, Tennessee.
Charity Whitfield married Frederick O'Daniel and their son William is the father of Alexander (above) who married Annie Keathley.
This same info was also in our family records.

Alexander supposedly died in Duplin County, N.C. and was buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Gibson Co. TN. His wife is listed there, but he is not.
